MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST

ProLabs Medical Laboratory is looking for qualified and motivated medical laboratory technologists to join our team. 

Job Profile

The ideal candidate will possess at least:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the Company
• Knowledge in computer

Previous work experience in related field will be an advantage.

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform analysis on all samples received and report results
• Verify and validate all laboratory reports
• Operate laboratory equipment in a responsible manner and ensure regular preventive maintenance 
• Perform quality control tests required and prepare reports
• Maintain proper records of laboratory results, quality control data and standard laboratory procedures
• Prepare reagents and solutions as required
• Engage in the implementation of ISO15 189 and other related activities
• Assist in training and guiding assistant laboratory technologists and laboratory assistants
• Perform related duties as assigned

Skills and Qualities

• Be fluent in both French and English (Good written and spoken skills)
• Ability to work independently while having good teamwork skills
• Follow standard procedures and set instructions
• Resourceful and proactive in organisational skills
• Multitasking and time-management skills
• Computer literate
